Many substances in the home, school, workplace, or even eating-places such as hawker centers and restaurants are poisonous. Eating or coming into contact with these substances may result in a variety of symptoms.

If anyone eats, inhales, or comes into contact with a poison, STAY CALM, and give the DPIC a call at 6423-9119. Call 995 Emergency Medical Services for an ambulance if the victim becomes unconscious and/or unresponsive, develops fits/convulsions, or stops breathing.
